    Hey Zuljaras,

No problem. Again, I personally never experienced the memory leak issue or any sort of game breaking bugs; however, some people did. Maybe I was just lucky? Who knows… I started playing again recently, and have had no issues so far other than some slow down (only when playing in handheld mode), but this was fixed when I changed some of the display/graphics settings.

I understand what you mean about developers releasing unfinished products and then patching it (Bethesda, Ubisoft, and others come to mind); however, with this game I never felt like I was playing a beta build when I bought it. If you still have doubts, you should check out the demo on the eShop. From what I heard, that build is the most up to date version, so it will give you an idea of what to expect. The updates for this game always felt like they were adding to the game, not finishing things up. Hope this helped.

    Hey BriB,

Great suggestions. Have you updated your Switch recently? They added the Adventurer’s Pack that made a few changes to the game. From what I have noticed there is more/better loot, different dungeons, more NPCs that you can move around (not sure if you can take them with you, though). To see these things, however, you have to “refresh” (or something called similar to that) your universe (the option is towards the bottom left corner of the Universe selection screen). It does not erase any of your progress or lock your unlocked areas, it just redesigns and updates many of the zones you have been to. When I did it, I noticed different NPCs scattered around, and the dungeons looked new to me in the areas I revisited (note that I have not finished the game, so maybe you saw them already).

Anyway, as for suggestions, I think new dungeons would be really cool. For example, instead of just small little dungeons in one zone, how about one big difficult dungeon with new enemies? I also would like new trials. There was an event where you had to do three trials (I think it was a level 30 zone), and that was really fun, especially in split-screen co-op. Another suggestion, though this one is very unlikely, is to able to edit your character appearance. Sometimes hats that you can make mess up the look of my characters (they look bald, when they have long hair), so to be able to change it would be great. I am pretty sure they will continue to add things, so here’s hoping.

    Hey Ddill168,

What type of television are you using (the old original TVs, a small HDTV, etc.)? The reason I ask is because I was having a similar issue as well (I own a small HDTV), and I fixed by changing my television’s picture settings (they have options like “wide”, “full”, “stretched”, etc.). I know it is a dumb suggestion, but sometimes it is little issues like that.

    Hey Zuljaras,

Unfortunately, I cannot answer your first question because I do not understand it. What do you mean by base game? If you mean the required download size for the physical edition, there is no download required — it is all on the cartridge. However, they recently updated the game with the Adventure Pack (or something similar), which added a variety of things, so you would be missing out on a lot if you do not update your game (the download is pretty small).

As for the second question, I have owned the game since launch day and played it extensively in local/split-screen co-op, and never experienced the memory leak issue myself. Even when I began playing on my own, I still did not experience the issue. However, I have not played online multiplayer of any sort, so maybe this was causing the issue — I cannot say for certain. There was also an update a while back that mentioned some fixes, so maybe that fixed the issue? I hope this helped.

    Hey Stray Love,

Unfortunately a screenshot will not do much good, since a lot of the areas are randomly generated, which means your Garnet Peaks will look different than my Garnet Peaks. You said the compass was not helping you (some of these portals are really well hidden, so dig through walls in the dungeons or dig straight down where the signal is strongest because you can hear the portal), so the only thing I can suggest is to “refresh” your universe.

When you are selecting your universe in the main menu, there is a little symbol that says “refresh” when highlighted and it reorganizes your universe areas. It does not erase your progress or lock your unlocked areas. It will just update and redesign the areas you explored (more NPCs, different layout, etc.). I do not know if your built home will reset, however, if you built it in non-vacant island like Garnet Peaks for example (the menu says it won’t but I cannot confirm). Let me know if this helped at all.
